Oakwood University is Seeking $100,000 to $250,000 a Year in State Money to Run Covid-19 Vaccination Clinics for the Government

Oakwood University, a Seventh-day Adventist institution, is seeking to partner with state government officials to distribute vaccines to ethnic minority populations and rural communities. On February 11, 2021, Oakwood University President Leslie Pollard expressed these sentiments to WAFF News Channel 12: Oakwood University’s president says he hopes the University can be a part of improving those numbers by submitting its proposal for a grant to run vaccination clinics in minority communities. President Leslie Pollard says university employees are working hard writing up a proposal. [1] “I do understand the hesitancy, I empathize and sympathize with it, I think the risks of not be vaccinated if one can be are far less than the risks of being unvaccinated in this current environment, especially when there are so many morbidities that people of color actually have.” [1] Oakwood University has applied for grant money from the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH), which is the main s

Fratelli Tutti: Ganoune Diop Praises Pope Francis’ Encyclical

The pope is working overtime to unite all of the religious faiths of the world into one family. Pagans, spiritualists, Mother Earth worshippers, homosexuals, Protestants, Catholics, indigenous faiths and eastern religions are all part of Rome’s one-world brotherhood. Truth and doctrine no longer matter anymore according to the Pope’s encyclical, Fratelli Tutti. Just yesterday, Roman Catholics, Evangelicals, Orthodox and Seventh-day Adventists gathered to praise Fratelli Tutti. Over thirty religious leaders met at the annual Conference of the Secretaries of Christian World Communions (CS/CWC) from 20–22 October 2020. Ganoune Diop was the acting secretary for this gathering. The Vatican reported the following news: “The Catholic Church was represented by Bishop Brian Farrell, Secretary of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, assisted by Reverend Andrzej Choromanski, staff responsible for the multilateral relations. The North New Zealand Conference President Responds to the Fallout over His Comments on the National Sunday Law Book

Three days ago Bob Larsen, President of the North New Zealand Conference, disavowed the National Sunday Law book in an interview with the local media. The news sought an official response from the Seventh-day Adventist Church about a mass distribution campaign currently underway in New Zealand. The media wanted answers as to why some in the community were “horrified” and “disgusted” with the National Sunday Law book that was being labeled an “extreme and insidious propaganda” and a “conspiracy theory.” How did the President of the North New Zealand Conference of Seventh-day Adventists respond when pressed by the secular media? Did he say that the “official” church actually believes that a National Sunday Law will one day be enacted? Did he say that the National Sunday Law book does in fact contain the last message of mercy to the world? Or did he at least remember what the Seventh-day Adventist Bible Commentary, an official church publication, says on this matter: “It is for the inter

UN OCHA said a key challenge faced by humanitarian agencies is how to ensure that limited available resources are allocated where they are most needed and are efficiently delivered in a principled manner. “Decisions to allocate resources must strike a balance between meeting the immediate needs of the crisis affected communities and supporting efforts to strengthen resilience and response preparedness for future
